3 Reasons Why People Get Acne

Acne is a terrible skin condition affecting millions of people around the world. Many spend their whole life trying to find something that works and often wind up wasting hundreds of dollars on treatments that are expensive and not customized to their specific skin and acne problems. While, there are many generic home remedies, they are cost-effective and easily accessible meaning you can try them all to find the right one or combination of treatments for you. Learn how to get rid of acne naturally with a few quick to make and easy to use home remedies.

To know how to get rid of acne you need to understand why we get acne in the first place. To approach both the problems and solutions of acne we'll go through the top three reasons why people get acne and provide you with the tools to get rid of it.

1. Internal Toxins

Toxins are all around you in the environment and daily life, but you also have toxins in your body that your body works around the clock to fight and work to keep you from getting sick. When your body has too many toxins or infections you will likely sweat more or spike a fever, this causes the toxins to come out through your pores and cause pimples to appear. A pimple is no more than an infected pore. When the pore is clean and clear, your skin will be too. In order to combat these infections, you need to have skin that is clean and protected. Toners are great protecting agents for toxins and help to balance the skin as you release toxins. One great home remedy for toner is Papaya juice. Apply all over your face, let sit for fifteen to twenty minutes, then rinse with warm water and apply moisturizer.

2. Excessive Oiliness

Oily skin causes dirt and oil to clog the pores which can allow bacteria to grow and infections to start, which causes the pimples to show up. By keeping your face clean you can avoid this build up of oil and dirt. One great remedy for cleaners is to mix equal parts Rosewater (which can be found at most health food stores and many pharmacies) and lime juice. This solution can be kept in the refrigerator for several weeks for easy accessibility.

3. Dead Skin Cells

Dead skin cells are harmful in the same way that excessive dirt and oil are. When you don't take the time to exfoliate or use a weekly mask your dead skin cells sit there and are an open invitation for bacteria to settle into pores. Pores are tighter when fresh skin is on top and this keeps dirt and oil from clogging them. A great mask to use if you have dry skin is a paste made from oatmeal and water. If you don't have dry skin, make a paste out of baking soda and water. Both masks can be allowed to dry, and then rinsed off with warm water. Always apply a mask at the end of your day, so your skin will be clean for a period of time. Follow up with a moisturizer and enjoy your bright new skin.

Bacteria in pores is one cause of spots. Reduce the amount of bacteria by using toners containing anti-bacterial agents like alcohol, peroxide and benzalkonium chloride, and by using creams that contain benzoyl peroxide (ask your doctor about benzaclin, with moisturizer if you have dry skin, as it works better than just plain benzoyl because benzoyl takes up to 8 weeks before improvement is seen) which kill bacteria as well as cause the skin to regenerate faster. Maintain a routine. Most acne treatments take time to work. It usually takes between two and eight weeks before you see any significant improvement, so you are going to have to be patient. Once you've gotten your acne cleared up, it's important to continue with the treatment that's working so it does not return. If all else fails, contact a doctor. Mild antibiotics that are available only by prescription can help reduce acne. Keep in mind though, that the widespread overuse (taking antibiotics when you really don't need them or for something they don't treat) and misuse (not taking medication for the specified amount of time) of antibiotics has led to the development of multiple antibiotic resistant bacteria. That means that the antibiotics won't work for the things they used to (including your acne). TC...

Get some yarrow capsules, put one in some warm water, splash your face with it,pat dry with a wash-clothe.Then for toner use lemon it balances the ph in your skin,Apply with cotton ball. Then use 100% pure aloe vera gel (get this stuff at local heath food store or drugstore).Hope I helped!,God bless!. :) Garlic is good for pimples to (not good for sensitive skin) just leave it on for like 5 mins (mash it up first). Also have a good diet, eat lots of fruits and veggies(I'm a vegetarian). Also drink lots of water say is you weigh 100 lbs try to drink half your body weight (50 oz).Taking MSM (100-1,000 mg) daily can help acne. :) Source(s): Me,I used to have acne and doing this cured mine, everybodys skin is different.I'm 15.

I've posted this answer on another question about acne and I'll tell you the same. 1..Find a good cleanser or soap (I'm using Avon's cleanser) 2. Exfoliate your face minimum once a week to remove dead cells (I'm using Avon's exfoliant and it's the best that I've tried by now) 3.Keep the hands away from your face! (I mean it!) 4. And this is the most important thing: Try acne products that contain benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid or in my case the clindamycin really worked (I have lotion and gel). I've tried so many products and I found out that benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid don't work for me. But every skin is different and you must try what will work for you. I'm 21 and I'm fighting acne for 10 years.
